Basic Cell Extraction Instructor Level Course-I
This is a Basic Cell Extraction Instructor Level Course-I designed to enhance understanding and proficiency in identifying conditions necessary for cell extractions. The course will concentrate on the roles, positions, and equipment required for cell extraction entry teams, alongside individual gear essential for these operations. Additionally, it will address critical use of force protocols relevant to litigation issues. Participants can expect a series of walkthrough-style scenarios emphasizing tactics that rely on chemically induced extractions, with a reduced emphasis on physical entry techniques to minimize potential injuries to both staff and inmates. The curriculum will combine classroom instruction with practical scenario exercises. To fulfill the requirements of the instructor-level training, students are expected to actively participate in these exercises. For optimal effectiveness and successful completion of the course, students should maintain a good level of physical fitness. Certain modules may expose participants to chemical agents; therefore, students with medical conditions that may restrict their participation must obtain clearance from a healthcare professional prior to enrolling. Conditions such as hypertension, cardiovascular issues, respiratory concerns (including bronchitis and asthma), or allergies necessitate such consultation. CTSTI will not assume responsibility for students who do not seek medical advice before engaging in the course. Students who are unable to complete the exercises will be unable to fulfill the instructor-level course requirements. It is the responsibility of each student to ensure they are physically prepared to meet the course demands. A minimum of 15 participants is required for the course to proceed.
